Strolling through the stone arcades of the Apple Market in Covent Garden, I always like to peek into the window of Kabiri whilst munching on a double chocolate cookie from Ben's Cookies. Kabiri is a great store. Most of the jewellery is challenging. It forces you to use all of your senses to try and comprehend it. This is not just shiny
bling for bimbos with money. Each piece is a little tiny work of art. So, not surprisingly, I always stare longingly. The other day the beautiful spidery and fairytale creations of Arielle De Pinto held my gaze

If the title didn't give it away you've probably guessed that these pieces were crocheted. I like the idea of crocheting with precious metals it reminds me faintly of chainmail but much more delicate and feminine.

oo I love the first piece and the gold drapey chain effect necklace. I will definitely check out the shop next time I'm in Covent Garden (and I will most probably also get a Ben's Cookie- milk chocolate for me though!)
Amazing! I would love one of those necklaces
the sparkling last photo is lovely..

Wow, love the idea of crocheted jewellery. These pieces are really beautiful. Kabiri is probably my favourite jewellery shop in London. xx
