I took these pictures after doing just one coat. The next day I did a second coat and took a walk in the 30+ heat to help it dry. The colour is indeed stunning after just one coat but for maximum effect I recommend applying two coats
My only complaint about this colour is durability. Sunday night I had applied my second coat and was happy with the results. By Tuesday morning the chipping had begun and by wednesday the colour appeared to be fading (a reaction to UV light?). So if you purchase this I also recommend that you also apply a good topcoat.

ohh this color is stunning, I've been meaning to try out this collection. A one coat application is great because I usually don't have time to sit and wait so I can at least stretch out my nail session by an extra day

That's a beautiful color--I love teal! See though, that's why I can't stand OPI. It ALWAYS chips the next day for me. They must have a brilliant marketing team because they're everywhere, but the product is mediocre. The colors are great, but it's just not nearly durable enough, and the colors I have all take 3 coats. So not worth the time or money. /OPI RANT
I have ridges too. I should probably get one of those little buffing pads to smooth them out, but haven't bothered. For neat application, I clean up where I've "colored outside the lines" with a q-tip dipped in remover. ;)x
