A Clever Take on the 'Walking Billboard'

These Marc by Marc Jacob totes were designed exclusively for Holt Renfrew and proceeds are in support of VisionSpring a charity providing eyewear to the third world.

That's a visual play on the Marc by Marc Jacobs logo and an eye chart -in case you didn't notice.

I don't normally go for anything plastered with logos but these are very clever indeed and are helping out a great charity.

Looking Forward to Tonight, Nuit Blanche 2010

When I left for London roughly seven years ago, there was no Nuit Blanche. While I was away various things changed in my homeland and the creation of Nuit Blanche (Toronto) five years ago was one of them.

Nuit Blanche is a free 24 hour art festival.

Last year I went to my first Nuit Blanche:

 The City's Financial district was turned into a midway...

... and the towers of New City Hall spelt out messages against the night sky, with ominous almost alien music  anticipating each new message.

Tonight I am going to Nuit Blanche 2010. So will post pictures of tonight's adventures hopefully Sunday morning.
