These SS12 shoes from The Office of Angela Scott are handmade in Italy and unlike my own DIY experiments are most definitely good for more than one wear. I think this is a nice take on the somewhat tired oxford trend. The colour palette and stripes remind me of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada whom I also adore. It's great to see that there is not an espadrille or strappy wedge sandal in sight for this SS12 collection. I tend to wear a lot of closed shoes in summer ('cause I feel like it OK!) and for obvious reasons it can be hard to find closed shoes in bright summery colours. The painted canvas pieces are especially great, not only because they look cool but also because canvas is extremely comfortable and breathable thus making it the ideal material for spring/summer shoes.
